Biography

Frankie Lee Wright, 56, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Cassie Lee Wright, brother, Frenchie Wright; grandparents, Rosa Stevenson and William and Thelma Wright.

Surviving are his wife, Joy; two sons, Frank Littlejohn, of Newark, NJ and Frankie Preston, of Roanoke; two daughters, Felicia Fralin and Ebony Saunders, of Bronx, NY; one stepdaughter, Danyel Preston, of Roanoke; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Jacquetta Patillo, of Bronx, NY; two aunts, Dorothy Henderson and Valerie Saunders; one uncle, Marshall Henderson; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Rev. James Saunders and Pastor J. L. White officiating. Interment will be in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chamblissburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
